2422 3" High Fire Ceramic/Pottery Kiln

The 2422 - 3” high fire ceramic/pottery kiln is perfect for a home studio. Its 22” depth allows for easy loading and unloading, while its 3” brick walls and lid provide 20% more insulation than traditional brick kilns, saving energy. With a 42-amp draw, it has ample power to accommodate both low-fire (cone 6) pottery and high-fire ceramic firings up to cone 8 (2300°F). It accommodates a 21” full shelf or two half shelves and allows for square pieces up to 15” x 15”. You also have the option to add lid lifters for easy opening and closing.

Equipped with the renowned Orton Digital 3-key controller (AF4X) with 25 blank user programs as standard, precise temperature control ensures optimal firing conditions for every project. With the option to upgrade to the Orton AutoFire 4000 12-button controller, AutoFire Slide or the TAP II Touchscreen Controller, you’ll gain even more features and ease of programming.
