Vince is a retired Air Force veteran and the maker behind Black Bird Blades, established in 2017. He specializes in hand-forged blades, metal art, and leather work, with all Damascus billets and leather crafted in-house. Vince believes strongly that his work should look truly handmade, and Black Bird Blades is known for creating textures that reveal the process of each piece coming to life.

In recent years, Vince has begun collaborating with well-known companies on his folder designs, producing OEM (original equipment manufacturer) work that allows Black Bird Blades designs to be offered in stainless steel. This creates a clear distinction between his forged custom pieces and his OEM collaborations.
