Kiln Sitter Tube Assembly

Kiln sitter tube assemblies are available in short, long, and extra long sizes.

Replacing the tube assembly takes approximately 10 minutes.

Kiln sitter tubes typically need to be replaced for three reasons:

1. The tube was accidentally hit by a kiln shelf and broke while loading the kiln.
2. The sensing rod inside the kiln may have bent.
3. The tip that rests on the cone can wear down over time.

To ensure you purchase the correct tube assembly, measure the kiln brick and panel box, and confirm that the tube extends at least 1 inch into the kiln.
