Wire Thermocouple for Chilipepper Kilns

This wire thermocouple is designed for all 120V GS (infinite switch) and Chilipepper kilns. It accurately senses the kiln’s internal temperature and sends the signal to the pyrometer for monitoring.

How to Know When to Replace:

• Typically lasts for many years, but if the pyrometer tip doesn’t rise, the thermocouple may be faulty.
• Check for a break in the thermocouple wire, often found at the tip.

Replacement Process:

• Requires a small Phillips head screwdriver and a 1/4" nut driver (about 10 minutes to replace).
• On Chilipepper kilns, no tools are needed for installation.

Ensure your kiln maintains accurate temperature readings by replacing a worn thermocouple when needed.
